Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Fuel Quality Testing Laboratories - AIRSAFE (Punjab Smog Mitigation & Response Initiative)

SMA Engineering & Services (Pvt.) Ltd., successfully executed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of advanced Fuel Quality Testing Laboratories for the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department, Government of the Punjab.

The project comprises six complete laboratories across Punjab:

• Lahore: 1 Fixed + 1 Mobile Laboratory
• Rawalpindi: 1 Fixed + 1 Mobile Laboratory
• Multan: 1 Fixed + 1 Mobile Laboratory

The laboratories are equipped with advanced fuel-testing instrumentation for comprehensive petroleum quality analysis, including Gas Chromatography, Fuel/Octane-Cetane Analysis, Density Measurement, Flash Point Testing, Sulfur Analysis, Karl Fischer Moisture Determination and FTIR Spectroscopy.

The three purpose-built Toyota Hiace mobile laboratories enable EPA teams to conduct fuel sampling, inspection and testing operations directly in the field, supporting effective fuel-quality monitoring and environmental enforcement throughout Punjab.
